I did a thing!!!
A dream I never dreamed big enough to have.
I'm taking a leap and renting my own studio within D’art Gallery Denver
I'll be using the space as part gallery and part creation space and look forward to more dedicated time to work on more and BIGGER pieces.
In this "soft launch" phase the space is open during D'art Gallery hours (TH 12-5, FR 12-9, SA 12-5, SU 11-4). Or DM me to set up a time to meet since I won't always be there, but I've set up payment links so you can make purchases even when I'm not around.
Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be finishing putting furniture together and displaying some of my available Artwork.
No need to wait though, I invite you to check it out, and pretend not to notice any of the "construction zone" clutter in the back half as I'm getting it set up.
My future plans include:
- online scheduling for free private tours Sundays -Fridays (you can DM me now for this, I'm just working on an online option that's easier for you)
- mini workshops (e.g. learn to dot, seasonal gift making, etc.)
- free meetup-like casual get togethers called "Paint Togethers" for anyone who wants to create with a little company.

I really appreciate the wonderful support I've received so far as I've poured my heart into making art and had such a warm and wonderful response. Here's to the next chapter, yay/eeek!

"That Castle"
Acrylic On Canvas
20" x 24"
$975
Available at through July 12, 2026

I LOVE this view of Castle Rock. I see it constantly when I leave the creative campus at . I've done so many mini versions of this view, I wanted to branch out into a bigger (for me -ha!) depiction.

I started by toning the canvas with a cadmium orange and a yellow for a rich and dramatic base to contrast.

Next, I used procreate to capture the line work I wanted from one of the (many) reference photos I've taken over the years. I projected just the line work into the canvas .

I chose rich, matte colors for the rocks and did my thing filling in all of my sections.

Next was to add the line work back in.

I used varying shades of black and dark grey, alternating, to make sure I could truly capture the shape and depth of this particular view I love so much.

In this photo, I'm trying to record which of my (currently around 200) custom colors I'm using to get that dramatic sky.

The end result is a lovely, medium sized POP of COLOR. Great for nooks....
... Accentuating spaces....
... Or bringing energy (and hopefully a smile) to your daily spaces.

This show has been AMAZING. I've sold over 35+ original pieces, BUT there are more than 20 remaining ranging in size, and including several NEW pieces I've created during the show.

Celebrate with me and enjoy my "Green Dot Sale" and get 10% off original works and prints.

Plus, I'm hosting an impromptu Cocoa and Donuts night tonight, Friday 1/23 from 4:30 until close to thank anyone willing to brave the cold to enjoy some art with me.

Cheers and thanks to everyone who has come out, made dots, chatted, and made this show such a wonderful experience and success!
