5+ hours on the patio today…but all computer work. Nothing truly “fun”!! But it’s okay, I had a wee bit of company to keep me on task with organizing a retreat and then contacting and updating contact info for our 50th class reunion next year. Meet my friends Bluey the blue tailed skink and Sq**rt the squirrel!
Bluey is a tiny guy. When we first met at the beginning of summer he was the tiniest little thing maybe 3” long if that much. He is up to maybe 4 1/2 or so now but broader at the shoulders. 🦎
Sq**rt is one of many trouble makers here. He chews up everything in sight…including metal patio furniture and hides under the hood of our truck to eat up the a/c housing. Sq**rt and his friends are lucky to still be amongst the living…just sayin’. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🐿️

What a fantastic day hanging out with two of my bestest vintage loving friends!! When the three of us get together, fun is never far behind!
Big thanks to Julie of Julie Stitches Vintage for the tour of STL Sewing Exchange! What a great mission they have there!!
And of course you gotta love Kelly Cline Quilting!! Always a treat to hang out, brainstorm, laugh, and dream together!
If you are anywhere near the metro St. Louis area, check this place out!! You won’t be sorry!

I’ve been procrastinating. It’s my very best lifelong talent!! Today I started deep cleaning one corner of a room. It is piled high with quilting magazines, fabrics that need sorted out, papers of all sorts, and the home to giant killer dust bunnies.
I’ve been procrastinating on this job a very long time, but today it was the perfect thing to take my mind of my “SHOULD BE DOING” job in the procrastination process.
What do you know…procrastinating paid off double because I actually ran across the things I was putting off looking for!!!!
Funny how things roll some days.
Now I’m celebrating on the patio. It’s is an absolutely gorgeous day out here!! Besides, I can put off sorting and storing those magazines some other time, don’t you think????

It took the day “off” from business and spent some time piddling around the house. Felt great!! I had finished packing and mailing orders yesterday so it was a guilt free day for me. 🤗
We shall see what tomorrow brings…
