Well…it was hot.

How hot?

After the show, while everyone was finally cooling off, Joe looked down and realized the stage had done a number on his sandal. The heat had literally separated the rubber sole from the sandal. (Photo evidence attached. 😂)

We think “I Lost My Sole in the Badlands” has the makings of TopHouse’s next hit.

In all seriousness, thank you to everyone who braved the record-breaking heat to join us. And to those who made the difficult decision to stay home—we’re grateful you put your well-being first.

A huge tip of the hat to Jordan Lane and TopHouse for taking the stage in those temperatures and putting on one hell of a show. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off the inaugural Badlands Live.

We’ve got plenty more photos, stories, and memories to share from this incredible weekend. But for now…we’ll leave you with the tale of the sandal that almost lost its sole in the Badlands. Please share your pictures and videos and tag us!

A quick public service announcement… 🦟

We’ve done everything we can to encourage our tiny, uninvited guests to find somewhere else to spend Sunday evening. We’re also hoping for a nice breeze to help convince them.

That said…this is an outdoor concert in the Montana badlands.

If you’re prone to attracting gnats, we encourage you to come prepared with your favorite bug spray or deterrent.

The good news? As the evening cools, the sun drops, and the music starts, we’re hoping the only thing you’ll be focused on is the stage.

Consider this the Badlands’ soundcheck. 🌅

The amphitheater spent last night showing off a little… flexing with one incredible sunset before the stage belongs to TopHouse and Jordan Lane.

Tomorrow it all comes to life.

The stage is set. The benches are waiting. The Badlands are glowing. It almost feels like this place has been practicing for tomorrow.

We’re just 1 day away from welcoming TopHouse, Jordan Lane, and all of you for the inaugural Badlands Live. We truly can’t wait to share this evening together.

What an incredible journey.

From the beginning, our hope was to create an experience that would bring people together in one of Montana’s most incredible places. Thanks to your support, the inaugural Badlands Live is officially sold out.
