We want to give a warm welcome to Ms Karaline who will be teaching our Spotlight Dancers here at Glen Dance! ✨
Karaline Focke is from Houston, Texas and has been dancing since she was three! She has trained in over 8 genres of dance. After High school, Karaline moved to Long Island to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre at LIU Post campus. There, she performed with the dance company PCDC for a year, before becoming one of the Company Managers. She has taught at multiple studios on Long Island and back home in Texas in genres such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, and pointe. Her teaching journey started around the age of sixteen with assisting a performing arts program for adults with down syndrome, called the Jovians. She then continued to help teach the program for 4 years, which included many performing opportunities, fundraising events, carnivals, and so many other incredible activities. She is very excited to help pioneer this new program, Spotlight Dancers, here at Glen Dance!
