WE MEET IN GIG HARBOR AT PENINSULA LUTHERAN CHURCH
WHERE IS THAT? – PLC is easy to find, located 10 minutes west of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Families have commuted from as far away as Lynnwood, Kent, Ft Lewis, Graham and Silverdale because they value our ministry and love the fellowship. (Our audiences have driven from Marysville, Centralia and Oregon to see our productions) Don’t let transportation keep you away. Invite some friends and devise a carpool. WOULD YOU LIKE TO JOIN OUR MAILING LIST? Send your name along with your email address to [email protected] and we will put you on our list right away! Financial commitment – For every production we do, each member raises support as they would to participate in a mission trip. It enables us to offer the most reasonably priced community theatre in the Puget Sound area. Our ministry fundraises to keep the program affordable. The costs are low – but the rewards and the experience is priceless. HELP WANTED
Quality theatre is an expensive business and so is community service. For our program to continue to flourish, we do need assistance in funding. Tax-deductible contributions are welcome from individuals, businesses, service organizations and churches. Proceeds for our projects go toward paying expenses and helping to support community needs. We welcome volunteers of time, talent and treasures – including financial contributions, creative work, backstage help, hospitality, community liaison, promotional support, prayer team and performance opportunities. EVERGREEN PERFORMERS IS proud to announce that we have temporary moved our "gifts of love" -- sets, costumes and props, to a new location. (what a job!) Thanks to the folks at Peninsula Lutheran Church and members of EP that helped be good stewards of God's handiwork. You are BLESSINGS! . . . .WE are resting, praying, planning and pondering our next steps and the "Opening Nite". Thanks for the many of have helped, planned, prayed and been good stewards -- and those who have already donated to our 40th ANNIVERSARY FUNDRAISER. There is room for more to join our team. September 9th will be our 40th Anniversary. Pray and get ready to support our ministry.

I spent the week in hard labor -- sorting and moving an entire theatre. Some thought best "just get of it" . . .nope. GOOD STEWARDSHIP -- utilize what many have worked so hard to create -- why? for the joy of others and sharing the Gospel. Thanks to all who helped -- both now and who created exquisite artistry. Enjoy the gifts of many who worked so hard. Thanks to Jason, Angie, Tony, Pastor Chuck and the PLC Men's group, Chris . . . .and those who have worked so hard. Stay tuned for news about the NEXT CHAPTER OF The Evergreen Performers . . . .WE'VE got exciting plans to come :)

Please add The Evergreen Performers to your prayers -- and pray this prayer for us

Evergreen Performers -- ready to start your engines? We need to pray, recruit, donate (repeat). Many of you are anxious (understatement) to be on stage or in the audience with us. Now's your chance to get to work to make it happen :) Last Monday one of our "original fan club" asked me that question (her church bought 60 tickets to opening night of Narnia in 1986 and has been a cheering squad since that day).

I did something "I've never done before" -- I said "you get to pick our next play, darlin'" -- she beamed with joy :) And it will be presented in her honor!

BTW -- a lovely lady by the name of Edgren introduced me to the book it is based on many years ago :) (don't you love when I give you a guessing game :) :) :))

Soooooooo for those of you who have been asking me -- jump in with energy and JOY to make this happen. Donations may be sent to Evergreen Performers, P O Box 2676, Gig Harbor, WA 98335.

This is a new play for us AND NEW TO THIS AREA. So rev up your engines so we can get started SOON AND VERY SOON.

Mark your engines and start to pray😍

Our first "leading man" in EP was Jon Malmin as Jesus in Godspell in 1984. (center top row) Jon has always been "in character" playing our Lord. Thank you for being a leader to us in many venues and being an awesome faith role model. Praying for a speedy recovery from a recent "health oops moment". Looking forward to hearing how God gives you a miracle, Big Bro.

Many have asked us "when will you start a play"? We need lots of awesome people dedicated to serving the Lord to work hard to make it happen. Ideas for projects? Ready to jump in? Probably the most successful plays we've done is The Kids of Bristol about the missionary, George Mueller. William Siems and Chris Foreman helped to make it come to life as the Atwoods in 2014. Both with hearts of gold and providing the comic relief. Would you believe they both do that year round in any play they do and in real life???
