KneeKnocker Woods KneeKnocker Woods is an outdoor Halloween Experience featuring an unsettling stroll through Grandpa Grimm's creepy woods.

This attraction uses state of the art amusement park quality animatronics to confuse the senses and entertain the participant at a level never before experienced in the State of Nebraska. Just 8 minutes East of Cabela's on Highway 30. Ticket booth opens at 6pm and the experience starts at dark!

Grandpa Grimm’s relatives have settled into the backwoods… and we could use a few more hands around the place.

KneeKnocker Woods is hiring for our 2026 haunt season, and whether you belong deep in the woods or somewhere a little closer to civilization, there’s probably a spot for you.

We’re looking for:

* Scare Actors — Join the backwoods bunch and give our guests a reason to run.
* Skill Game Attendants — Work the midway and see who’s got the nerve to play.
* Attraction Ticket Attendants — Check ’em in and send ’em down the path. What happens after that isn’t your problem.
* Parking Attendants — Get everyone parked and pointed in the right direction.
* Shuttle Drivers — Haul fresh batches of guests where they need to go.

It’s just 7 nights in October, making it a great way to earn some extra cash while spending spooky season somewhere that’s anything but ordinary.

Applicants must be 16+. Some positions may have additional age requirements.

Grandpa’s kin have been getting the woods ready. Come join the crew—just don’t ask what’s for dinner.

We’re officially building the 2026 KneeKnocker Woods team!

This year’s haunt will introduce a brand-new nightmare, and we’re looking for people who want to be part of bringing it to life. Whether you want to be one of the faces guests never forget or help create an unforgettable experience from the front of the attraction, we’d love to have you join us.

Love Halloween? Enjoy performing? Like making people question every step they take? Our actors are the heart of the haunt, and every night brings new screams, new laughs, and new stories.

Want to be part of the excitement without being in the woods? We’re also hiring for:
• Attraction Attendants
• Parking Attendants
• Guest Services

These positions are perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, keeping the night running smoothly, and earning some extra spending money during the Halloween season.

This year, Grandpa Grimm’s relatives came up from the South for a visit… and they decided to stay. No one knows exactly what’s happening down in those woods—but the people who wander in haven’t been making it back out.

It felt like the perfect day to stir something up in the woods. So for today only, we’re putting 13 Trail of Terror tickets up for sale for just $13 each for the 2026 KneeKnocker Woods season.

These tickets can be used any night we’re open during our Halloween season beginning in October, when the trail comes back to life and the woods start whispering again.

When you purchase, your ticket will be held at Will Call under your name, waiting there until you’re ready to walk the trail and see what’s waiting in the dark.
