Hi Way 92 Raceway Park Saturday Race recap. It was a crazy hot day! We unloaded a great car from the trailer. In practice we found some good speed. Qualified P2 just .080 behind Action Jaxon Motorsports, 95J!

Heat race started off well. I was able to move into the lead and the car was handling well. A caution came out with 4 laps to go. On the restart, going into turn one, a racing incident occurred which turned my car towards the outside wall. It was a hard hit and both the front and rear of my car were heavily damaged. I bruised my knee on the steering column. Car was in bad shape. Bent front stub and rear stub, bent rear axle, bent control arm, spindle and destroyed a wheel.

My family and team rallied hard and were able to completely replace all damaged bolt ons and I was able to get back out for the Main Event race. We started in the back dead last, and I was able to take my time and carefully work my way back up to a 2nd place finish. This car is hurt and needs to be reclipped, but it did its job, kept me safe, and I was able to finish the night out on a good note!

Congratulations to Maverick and Jaxon on your wins! Great run out there!

Thank you to everyone who helped get me back out on the track. I cant believe you guys pulled it off!

Big Surprise today! The future 07 Late Model has arrived! We will be making it CNS legal and hope to get some practice laps in next spring! Or maybe set it up as a Pro Late and hit the road? 😳

What a great night racing with fierce competitors and friends!

Race Recap! It was a Scorcher out at Colorado National Speedway! We took home the Main Event win!

We unloaded and got to work on the car. In first practice the car was a tad loose, so the team tightened up the setup. This would prove to be a problem later.

In the Heat Race the car fired off on the tight side, and progressively got worse over the run. I was able to hang on to a 3rd place finish with the handling very degraded at the end of the run.

I sat my dad down and went over the issues with the cars handling, and I could see the gears turning.
He and my grandma said they were gonna take a big swing at the setup and make the car turn and lock in on the line. My mom helped me get back to focused and helped me visualize what I needed to do.

We started outside row one for the Main Event. The green flag dropped and everyone was full throttle! Coming around the turn into the X I knew we had a good car. It cut in and held grip through the middle of the track. I kept it wide open and tried to hit my marks!

A mid race caution came out, and we lined back up behind the pace car. This time inside of row 1 with IAM racing 23m and Team on the outside.

The green flag dropped again and we were off to the races again!
Heading into the turn I could tell that the car was continuing to handle better over the long run.

I just kept thinking, hit my marks every lap, and focused on the track ahead.

I crossed the finish line in 1st place and took home my First Win of 2026 at CNS!

Huge thanks to Jason and Josh Writz for coming out with Insta360 and documenting the whole race day! There is going to be some epic videos coming as we had a X4 360 cam, an X5 360 cam, a GO Ultra helmet mounted cam, and two Luna Ultra Cameras running all day!
