Rita Hosking, an award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist is coming to Music On The Divide on Sunday October 25. Appearing on Georgetown's historic IOOF Hall stage, Hosking is known for her country-folk and Americana music. She grew up in Shasta County, CA with a deep appreciation for folk music. Her Cornish miner roots heavily influence her music. Hosking will be joined by her band, Sean Feder on dobro and banjo and Bill Dakin on upright bass. She and her band will also be presenting school concerts on Monday for the Black Oak Mine School District courtesy of generous donations to the James and Ilsa White School Concert fund. This October concert will begin at 3 pm. Season ticket holders and Evenbrite ticket purchasers will be admitted starting at 2 pm and tickets will be sold at the door (space available) beginning at 2:30. Ticket prices at the door are $25 for adults and $5 for students 12 - 18. Children under 12 are admitted free of charge. As usual, refreshments will be served at intermission (tips appreciated).
