Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Elementary School has these three Code of Honor banners hanging in their gym. After our Class Notes concerts there today, we took a few moments to decide which of us best fit each one. I think we nailed it. Do you agree?

Curious young musicians at Shakopee High School lined up to take a closer look at Michael's positive organ and Maryne's viola da gamba after our Your Classical MPR's Class Notes presentation today. (Alas, no one was interested in looking down Alyssa's throat to see her instrument.)

We've had a great time performing Baroque music for hundreds of students from Kindergarteners through 12th graders this week in Shakopee, New Ulm, Waseca, and Lake Crystal!

La Grande Bande’s “ Supper & Songs 2026” Performances originally scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026 *AND* Friday, May 8, 2026 have been cancelled due to illness. We apologize for any inconvenience. Confirmed ticket holders have already been notified by email.

This concert, with the same music, including Pergolesi’s La serva padrona, has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Arlington Haus Too AND on Friday, October 16, 2026 and Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the Black Forest Inn. All performances will begin at 7pm.

If you purchased a ticket for the original performance dates (May 7, 2026 or May 8, 2026), you should have already received an email with your options for date transfer or refund.

Tickets for the new/rescheduled dates (Thursday, October 15; Friday, October 16; Saturday, October 17) will be available for purchase by the general public starting May 11, 2026 on our website at www.lagrandebande.org/tickets.

𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑲 𝒀𝑶𝑼!!!! 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑲 𝒀𝑶𝑼!!!! 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑵𝑲 𝒀𝑶𝑼!!!! We're starting out 2026 with a fantastic start! During our Fall 2025 fundraiser, we had a goal to raise $5,000 with a $5,000 match.

Thanks to all of the incredible donors, La Grande Bande raised almost double our goal AND received the full amount of our match. From the bottom of our hearts, **𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛** for supporting La Grande Bande and all of the programming we do.
