Happy Juneteenth from all of us at Hendley Wine Co.! ❤️💛💚

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the powerful history behind this important holiday. Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and announced that enslaved people were free — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Galveston holds a special place in this story because it is where the news of freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Texas, making it the birthplace of Juneteenth and a symbol of hope, justice, and progress. ✨

As we raise a glass today, we honor the generations who fought for freedom and celebrate the culture, strength, and community that Juneteenth represents. 🍷

🚨 Well… this is not the gouda news we wanted to share today. 🧀😅
Due to a power outage, our refrigerator lost power and unfortunately we had to say goodbye to all of our meats and cheeses. Because of that, we will not be serving food today while we restock and get everything back in order.
The good news? 🍷 The WINE is still ready to pour!�We’re not 100% sure on today’s hours just yet, so please keep an eye on our page for updates.
Sorry for any inconvenience, y’all. We’ll be back up and running normal soon — same HENDLEY time, same HENDLEY channel. 📺🍷

Named after our amazing friend Kearra Shaw she had been longtime supporter of Hendley Wine Co. and this sandwich is every bit as special as she is. 💛

We’re talking two thick-cut slices of Texas slow-smoked turkey, layered with bright, savory pesto, creamy goat cheese, thick-cut beefsteak tomatoes, and crisp spring lettuce tossed in champagne vinaigrette. It’s smoky, fresh, tangy, creamy, and just gourmet enough to make your lunch feel like it has its own little fan club. 🍷😉

Now here’s the deal: let’s give Kearra’s Harvest some love. If y’all like it enough and it does well, we just might have to add this beauty to the menu full-time. No pressure… but also, kind of pressure. 😏🥪
