I am loving learning new techniques from Kerri Hollingsworth Artistry
It’s funny- a while back I went to my first estate sale and wouldn’t you know it, the owner had been a textile artist. I felt silly purchasing the bags rope and random wooden spools…and let me tell you, they have been sitting in my art space collecting dust ever since-
BUT when I saw the teaser for Kerri’s class (Threads of Connection), I knew those pieces were going to be given new life!
Making my own cordage from fiber scraps and random bits (module one), has been so inspirational. Being someone who is constantly on the lookout for rare, unique and one of a kind art, I cannot wait to use these in my own pieces. So.much.fun!
