Miss Chianti's Dance School Of Maryland operates under the direction of Chianti Tucker and Gloria Stewart. The studio offers dance instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Pom-Pom, and Step. There are weekly classes for ages 2 to adult from beginning to advanced levels, as well as Competition Teams for the most dedicated dancers wanting to learn all forms of dance and wanting to attend
competitions and workshops. Students at Miss Chianti's Dance School Of Maryland take lessons to have fun and continue their dance education. Miss Chianti's Dance School Of Maryland has a yearly recital, professionally presented and recorded in the local theatres. The recitals are extraordinary events, highlighting every student, class, and group participating in the studio. Students under the instruction of Miss Chianti have had many opportunities to perform in community events including; Germantown Oktoberfest, Gaithersburg Old Towne Days, Gaithersburg Labor Day Parade, Poolesville Day, Rockville Memorial Day Parade, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Old Towne Gaithersburg, Gaithersburg St. Patrick's Day Parade, Senior Citizen/Nursing Homes and The National Cherry Blossom Parade. These groups have traveled to various competitions throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area, Ocean City, MD. Pennsylvania, and Florida, and have won a variety of awards. Her competition teams have performed on the Carnival Cruise Ship's "Fantasy", "Ecstasy", and "Imagination" that sailed to such places as Key West, Bahamas, Jamaica and Mexico. They also performed on the Norwegian Cruise ship's "Norway" that sail the Virgin Islands. The competition teams have also performed on stage in Tomorrow Land at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Miss Chianti's Dance School Of Maryland is committed to giving each student a fun, well-rounded dance experience and to instill within each student a feeling of self-confidence and self-esteem.
