Here it is, that time of year when every artist thinks they are a face painter. And here I am again to warn parents that NOT every face painter is a professional.

Please be aware of who is painting your little ones. Ask questions, look at the product that's being used. Not all paints are made for the skin.

Seriously, consider hiring a professional! Please, be safe with what you allow on your child's face, arms, etc.

I realize most painters are already booked, but if you really want them painted and there's no professional face artists available, think about visiting a pumpkin patch in your area to get them painted.

Face painting should be handled by a professional. We have proper training and knowledge to protect your child the best way we can.

There are a few "old school face painters" who still use acrylics even after being educated. So, it doesn't hurt to ask if they use acrylics and if they do walk away.
Acrylics and craft paints belong on canvas, crafts, etc. NOT ON THE SKIN!

Airbrushing tattoos is a smudge proof and water resistant yet soap and water washable. This is very popular for events when you have moon bounce, pool parties and any time you know kids will be running and will sweat face paint away. This are also very popular when you have young adults that you know they won’t like their face painted.
