OPEN REHEARSAL 🎵
SING YOUR HEART OUT NIGHT!
Capella Nova Gainesville is a Community Choir. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 PM-9:00 PM (including a 15-minute “chomp & chat” break) at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, 9100 W. Newberry Rd culminating in a concert on Sunday, December 6, 2026.

We welcome new singers in the Gainesville and surrounding area to come to our first rehearsal on Tuesday, August 18!

Sing, connect and celebrate learning your singing potential! Our soloists are recruited from within Capella! Auditions will be arranged for interested singers!

WANT SOME CAPELLA NOVA GAINESVILLE… A COMMUNITY CHOIR STATS? 🎵

Our 2026 Summer Singer Survey asked our Capella Nova Gainesville singers that participated in our rehearsals and 3-concert last season the following question: “The rehearsals and concerts this season supported my growth as a singer.”

-95.4% of our singers answered Agree & Strongly Agree. 🙌
-The remaining 3.6% was Neutral 🎵
-Not one singer responded in the Disagree or Strongly Disagree categories! 🎉

What an unforgettable season we've had! Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who lent their voice, support, and leadership to Capella Nova Gainesville's Fall 2026 concert, 'Music for Journeys - Songs of Passage, Hope & the Road Home!' We're deeply thankful to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church & School for providing rehearsal space! We are also grateful to Grace Presbyterian Church, Gainesville, Florida for hosting the concert and warm reception 🎶💞.

Save the date: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, for our Open Rehearsal from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, followed by audition sign-ups for interested singers.
