On a Whim.

My new and forever Shop Name was very easy this time around. But it doesn't tell anyone what you do ... how will people know what you paint or sell? Time.

Every single day for me is a new adventure. I'm not a planner. I am a go with the flow, gypsy soul. It drives Micah and Jayce wild, Mama always being nilly w***y. I remember my Daddy always having a schedule, worried and rushing to the next place ... will we make it on time? What if we are late? Having to hold to a plan he made weeks ago but no longer wanted to attend but attended anyway because he said he would just never sat well with me. Some may call it irresponsible my life style, some cringe at the thought of living day by day with no rhyme or reason, I thrive in it. Freedom. Very low stress in my days. Some days I wake up and I paint for 12 hours straight suriving on a crisp coke and a jar of honey roasted peanuts ... some days I wake up and sip coffee for hours while I binge watch a new show I discovered and actually enjoy watching. Some days I run pillar to post, I run on coffee, a hope and a prayer and always drive it to e. Some days I just do absolutely nothing. Life On a Whim will forever be My Life and I absolutely love it here ❤️

Join me on my journey as this is the best one I've been on yet!

I have stopped and started more times than I can count. My work and my name has been stolen as others own, fraud, identity theft, yet I am still here fighting for it. My life is my paintbrush, a can of paint and My Boys.

Buckle up and stay close by me for my next chapter in life, my next 40. It's gonna be extra, loud, w***y nilly - On a Whim - and I wouldnt have it any other way ❣️

The amount of times I threatened to set this thing on fire is wild 😭 but her and I came to an agreement and! 144 hours later, I am finally finished.

Think abandoned, early 1900's General Store, New York.

I purposely spilled paint (even more than was already down there) on my Studio Floor. I squooshed it around and into the concrete to give it the old, worn down, neglected look I was going for. One of the glasses on top broke while I was repositioning the dresser and normally I woulda said a bad word (or 2) but it added even more to the look I wanted so I left the broken pieces on the floor.

My vision changed towards the end - and my momentum 😂 but I am so happy with how it turned out !
