Just over here tagging a piece of wood without spray paint. Custom job for a metal worker. I’ve never prepped something for molten metal to be poured into but I’ve got holes drilled through the side of the cut as “roots” to hold the metal in the wood. Hopefully this works. It is just a prototype for my customer but I’d rather it work than not.

Under 3 hour job for $1 a minute. You can’t beat that.
