BPO Spotlight!💚
Shedding light on this year’s beautiful Internal Vice-President Josie!🫶
“Hello! My name is Josephine, and I’m part of the Omicron Class. I don’t have any Littles yet, but I do have an amazing Big named Bre!
Some of my favorite hobbies are reading, going on scenic walks, and spending time with my friends. I’m a Biology major, which is something I really love, and I’m also involved in research studying salmon ovaries. In addition, I’m a Supplemental Instruction leader, which has given me another opportunity to support and connect with other students.
I originally joined BPO because a friend suggested it to me, but I was also looking for a community where I could meet people who shared similar interests and goals. What I found was so much more than that. BPO has given me a group of people I can support, depend on, and turn to for advice. I can ask questions about everything from biology and school to career goals and experiences.
I’m currently working toward becoming a Women’s Health Physician Assistant, and BPO has been especially helpful in connecting me with people who are also interested in healthcare. Being surrounded by people who understand my goals and can share their experiences, advice, and guidance has made me feel much more confident about my path. I’m really grateful to be part of a community where we can learn from and support one another!” - Josie
