The family also makes giving back part of their routine, participating in volunteer events each fall and spring. From assembling food boxes to preparing food pouches for those in need, they continue to find meaningful ways to show up for others. 🤝

Fresh, crispy, and worth the wait. Mike’s Chicken made a strong first impression with made-to-order bone-in chicken that stayed juicy inside and flavorful from the first bite to the last. 🍗

The chicken sandwich brought plenty of flavor with coleslaw, sauce, and pickles, while the fries disappeared quickly and the biscuits earned a spot as an extra add-on. The relaxed atmosphere made it an easy stop after a busy family evening. 😋

A Frisco location is coming soon, which means Hollyhock residents may not have to make the drive to Plano the next time a fried chicken craving hits. 🚗

Harper and Cole keep the Takeguchi family calendar full. 👨‍👧

Harper has taken to gymnastics, while Cole channels his energy into baseball and soccer, giving the family plenty of reasons to stay active and cheer each other on. 🤸

When they are together, the Takeguchis enjoy walks, bike rides, hikes, and visits to places like Frisco Commons and Monarch Park. Family time is often centered around getting outside, trying new things, and making memories together. 🚲

Friday night dinner gets a little easier when crispy chicken is involved. Mike’s Chicken served up made-to-order bone-in chicken, sandwiches, fries, and biscuits after a busy evening of flag football in Plano. 🍗

The bone-in chicken stood out for its crisp exterior and juicy center, while the chicken sandwich, fries, and extra biscuits made the meal an easy family win. The casual order-at-the-counter setup kept things simple too. 🍟

With a Frisco location coming soon to the former Slim Chickens space off the Tollway, this local favorite may be much closer to Hollyhock families before long. 🏡
