Virtual program being offered tomorrow.
Saturday's Shed Hunting For First Timers program has been canceled due to the heavy snow and high winds predicted for Friday evening into Saturday. The indoor portion of the program will be offered online as a "virtual" program through Microsoft Teams and will include an opportunity to "practice" your shed spotting skills.

PLEASE NOTE: Antler shed hunting IS permitted at PA State Parks and on all commonwealth-owned lands including PA State Forests and PA Game Lands. Park visitors do NOT need to attend a program in order to go shed hunting.
All park visitors, including shed hunters, must abide by all State Park rules and regulations, including keeping dogs on leashes and staying out of restricted areas. It is illegal in PA to collect antlers that have not been shed naturally or are still attached to a skull (road kill.) Federal law also prohibits disturbing nesting bald eagles, so be sure to stay at least 1,000 feet from any active nests.
