MFA Gallery is thrilled to announce 2 MORE SALES in our current juried group show "Openings: Windows, Doors, & Other Portals"!

CONGRATULATIONS to Meta Arnold for the sale of her mixed media piece "Palazzo Windows" and to Laura Dudes for the sale of her piece "Something in the Orange," created with acrylic and modeling paste!

These sales make a total of 11 pieces SOLD in the Show so far, and it is only half way through!

This Exhibition features artwork from 71 selected artists, depicting unique “Openings” and “Portals”: views that go through, between, and beyond spaces, in both a literal and metaphorical sense.

The featured artist is Julie Lutchansky Swenson.

The Show will run through Sept 27th 2026.

MFA Gallery would like to spotlight Julie Julie Lutchansky Swenson - the Featured Artist for our current juried group show "Openings: Windows, Doors, & Other Portals"!

Pictured below are her 4 works in the Show: "Invitation to Leisure World", "Blurred Seasons", "Hole-y Cow", & "Free Your Soul".

Julie's Artist Statement:

At times creating is simply a way of processing, holding onto, and remembering moments that have moved me. I aim to convey images that are both grounding and uplifting. Other times, unexpectedly, a visual image appears in my mind, and I explore it until I feel that I’ve captured the message that came my way...

A gallery owner described my work as “scene creation and storytelling.” That observation has stayed with me and continues to shape how I understand my work.
