As the curtain falls on the 2024 season at The Haunting, I find myself with that familiar bittersweet feeling. There’s just something about this time of year—when the screams quiet down and the lights go out for the last time—that tugs at the heartstrings. It’s been another incredible ride, one filled with unforgettable moments, laughs, and more than a few sore muscles (seriously, the aches hit different now that I’m 30!). But would I trade the soreness, exhaustion, and chaos for anything else? Not a chance. Haunting is in my blood, and every moment of it makes me come alive.

This year marked my 13th season since I first dove into the haunt world at 17. Thirteen years! I still remember that phone call to Beyond the Gate Haunted Trail like it was yesterday. I wasn’t sure what to expect and, to be honest, I had no idea if I’d even fit in. I called them looking for a job and they told me that they didn’t have paid actors, just volunteers. But that didn’t matter to me—I wanted in. The thrill of scaring my first group sealed my fate, and from that point on, I was hooked.

Without that trail just a few miles up the road, who knows where I’d be today? It’s funny how life works, isn’t it? If I hadn’t taken that first leap, I might never have found myself haunting at E-Town Terror, let alone making a home at The Haunting. This journey has been an epic one, and I’m grateful for every twist and turn.

Looking ahead to 2025, I’m feeling nostalgic and inspired to pay homage to those early days—the roots that started it all. I don’t quite know what form this tribute will take yet, but I promise it’ll be something special, and I can’t wait to share it with all of you.

As we officially close out 2024, I want to invite my fellow haunters to join me in celebrating our journeys. Share one of your favorite memories from when you first started in this crazy, amazing industry. Let’s take a moment to remember where we came from as we dream up even scarier, more exciting seasons to come.

As 2023 comes to a close I reflect on the memories of the year. We had a great season working with The Haunting this year and helping out with Fright at the Museum. TransWorld was great as always and I can’t wait to go back in 2024. Here to a frightful 2024!

This made my day. I forgot that I did this so since it came in the mail yesterday, we’ll call it a Christmas present to myself. I love seeing our brand new logo on there along side people like Froggy's Fog, Texas Haunters Convention Gore Galore and everyone else! 🧡 I can’t wait to see what 2024 brings!!!!!!!

The Barn of Terror, I loved your Krampus show. It’s not only Krampus themed, but everything seemed so different from Halloween Night. Which I might add, it felt warmer in December than it did on Halloween. Gotta love Indiana weather. 😂 Keep doing what you are doing B.O.T. I love your show. Happy Halloween………..er…….i mean Merry Christmas. 🎄 🧟‍♂️
