Here's a little something for those of you who don't feel brave enough to take a watercolor class... but really want to: "Creativity involves making mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." Our September 22 "Watercolor for Adults" instructor, Wendy Storbeck, encourages her high school art students with this quote at the start of every school year ... and reminds them of it every day.

In other words, failing is a normal, important part of the process to making really good art. So don't worry about perfection, that's just a big ol' distraction.

Also, Wendy will provide us all with practice paper and she'll go over techniques before we dive into the project itself. And if that's not enough, she'll also give us templates to trace so we don't have to figure out the drawing part - we can just play with the watercolor part.

In case you haven't noticed, September is peeking around the corner, and with it are TWO great opportunities to indulge your creative side and celebrate nature:

1) We'll make 🍂 Fall Wreaths 🍂 with Nancy Miller on Thursday, September 10

2) We'll bask in the joys of 🖌 Watercolor 🖌 with Wendi Storbeck on Tuesday, September 22 (yes, BASK)

Both classes start at 6:30pm and both promise to be sweet, laid-back celebrations of Fall, nature, and creativity. All while hanging out with a bunch of cool people. 😎

We have another creative class for you in September: "Rustic, Natural Fall Wreath" with Nancy Miller.

Let's say Hello, Fall! together as we all create our own decorative wreaths using a side-sweep design and natural elements.

Set in our cozy barn among the vineyards, this session will fuel your creativity and inspire those sweet Fall feelings. Plus, you go home with a hand-made wreath - cool, yes?
