Dear Community,

I know we are all very concerned about what did happened in our community, in the early morning hours last Sunday at 10600 block of Spotsylvania Ave.

Kabab City Restaurant Bar and Grill hosted a birthday party. The incident happened after the restaurant had closed and guest had left. There were no arguments or fights during the birthday party. After the gunshots, people in the parking lot ran back to the restaurant. We do not know the cause, neither do we know who fired the gunshots. We are waiting for the police investigation to complete.

I am very sorry for the unfortunate incident in our Community. I take it very seriously. Some of what you may hear or read may not be 100% accurate. Let us wait for the police report to draw a conclusion. If you have any questions concern, please contact me.

The wellbeing of the community and safety are my ultimate goals.

On behalf of Kabab City Restaurant Bar and Grill, I want to thank everyone for coming out to celebrate JD's Birthday. The event ran smoothly, our guests seemed to enjoy themselves. Much appreciation goes to Mr. Armani and Mr. Lauch for their exuberant talent.
