IMERS (Immersive Mobile Educational Recording Studio)

Let us introduce our "IMERS", the nation's first "Immersive Mobile Educational Recording Studio for Musicians with disabilities"! The "IMMERSive" program will allow us to go anywhere and bring the mobile recording studio to those who can't go to a normal one. This will be particularly beneficial to musicians on the Autistic Spectrum or other disabilities, giving them a safe space to grow their talent close to home. Along with our other ongoing programs all over Virginia and beyond, we have noticed a growing number of musicians with serious disabilities but are incredible Artists when it comes to music. Our programs educate, cultivate, and guide each of these people through their disability and adapt their craft and talents as musicians. We also want to help anyone embark on a journey to a brighter future in music with our Mobile Recording Tour, traveling into the future of music with our Virtual Reality Experience;

"Illuminations of Sound"

We're almost there, we have 95% of the funding to complete this amazing project. We're building it now and it's slated to be finished in Spring of 2022. So yeah, this happened...

Stafford, VA — May 15, 2026 – The Stafford County Economic Development Authority (EDA) proudly hosted the 2026 Business Appreciation Reception on Thursday, May 14, at the University of Mary Washington Stafford Campus – Gates Hudson Building, bringing together a dynamic assembly of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community partners for an evening dedicated to recognition, connection, and celebration.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the EDA’s prestigious business awards, recognizing organizations that exemplify excellence and impact:

Business of the Year: Glamour Beauty & Brows
Innovation Award: Bill Carroll Foundation / Groove Factory Music
Donald H. Newlin Community Stewardship Award: Hilldrup and SimVentions, Inc.

So was I surprised to hear our name called for the Innovation Award, and my incredible Managing Director, Lou Peradotto, also attended and received this incredible award. I've never been so proud to have been nominated in the first place, but to be recognized like this was amazing...
