Hi friends!
I'd like to introduce my new creative adventure: Sam Van Leck Portrait Co! 🌼🎨🌿
My name is Sam and I have been been painting for about 15 years. I use a combo of watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil and also dabble in digital art. I dream of building these skills and eventually writing and illustrating books for children.
I spend my days in magical exhaustion in playgrounds, ball pits, and imaginary rocketships. I'm a SAHM to two littles (Milo 3 and Daphne 10 months) and my creative hobbies keep me sane!
Some of you have privately commissioned paintings from me in the past and I've always worked by word of mouth. (Once, a friend of a friend had me paint her grandmother's story as a book for her family!) After painting a few Christmas presents this year, and encouragement from friends, I've decided to try to open something more public/official!
I've just created an Etsy shop where I will focus on family portraits, but I have experience in the following and am open to more custom work:
Family portraits
Floral Portraits
Pets
Nursery paintings
Maps
House paintings
For now, I plan to post here to open 3-5 slots per month!
