Today, today, today (sang in my head in the style of Phil Collins - iykyk) I’m sharing my blog post all about my friend new line with Island Batiks - Lunar Glow. I had so much fun working with these colors! I’ve shared my undying love for art deco with y’all, so you know I was heading in that direction the moment I saw it. I think it truly looks like stained glass.

We’re having loads of fun over a for our Beginner FPP classes. This past Saturday we discussed all the tools of the trade and tested the same pattern on three different paper types - Printer, Newsprint, and Freezer. Do you have a favorite notion, tool, or tip for FPP?

We have two classes left and you don’t have to have attended the earlier classes to join us for either of March’s classes. Head over to website to sign up!

Had a great time out at for Class Two of my 5 class series for FFP beginners. These ladies continue to inspire me with their willingness to try new things!! It’s not too late to join the fun - Class Three (February 28, 1pm) is all about the tools of the trade and you’ll leave the class with not only the class pattern, but the patterns from the previous classes as well! Hope to see you there!

📢📢Exciting News!!

I’ll be teaching FPP 101 with , beginning in January of 2026!

Dates are:
January 10th & 24th
February 7th & 21st
March 7th

It’s a five-part series, with a pattern created by me for you! Each session’s pattern focuses on a different skill and you’ll leave with a finished project after every class.

You can register at Webfabrics website for the ones you want or take all five! I hope to see you there!!

Sign ups are open for this weekend’s virtual class for a fun pillow for anyone’s sewing space! An FPP pattern and an envelope opening for a 14x14 inch finished square pillow casing. Depending on how fluffy you want the pillow, you can choose a 14, 15, or 16 inch pillow form. Or, if you have a bigger form, add a border around the block to make the case bigger! Sign-ups are open under Classes on my website (link in the bio). Saturday, November 8, 1-5 pm Eastern.
