Perfect Timing: The Hebrew word for “beautiful” also means “well-arranged” or “appropriate”. It suggests that life’s events happen exactly when they are meant to, not necessarily when we want them to.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there! You are extraordinary. Thank you for all that you do and the ways you love deeply, unconditionally, and sacrificially. You are seen, you are loved, and you are precious in the sight of the Shepherd who knows you by name. May you feel blessed and loved and celebrated today and everyday ❤️

Each painting tells the story of the sheep in the Shepherd’s care, the one He would leave the ninety-nine to find.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of God will stand forever. — ISAIAH 40:8

I’ve been absolutely loving painting and drawing flowers inspired by all the beautiful blooms in my neighborhood. It’s always such a delight when I spot new ones in my garden or on my walks, and knowing the time to enjoy them is short makes them feel all the more precious. Their brief appearance always reminds me of the words in Isaiah 40:8, and how even these sweet little flowers can point our hearts toward the truth of God 😌🌼 📖 ✨
