We were keeping it quiet and looking forward to 1 more race this year. We feel for these guys. With all there hard work to get this track in running condition again. Hopefully next year we will have a chance to race here. We are officially done sprint car racing for the year. We will do a recap of the year and have some idea of our plans in 2027 in next week or so.

Race day is looking a little different this time. We had some unfortunate luck last race and blew up 3 of the 4 quad motors due to fine, dust like sand. Bentley was able to find a new motor, Colton is switching to his Blaster and Chris called it a season. Pipers quad also suffered some issues, and we were unable to get a part to fix hers in time. We were hoping everyone would be able to finish out the quad racing season, but at least the boys will get the chance to race their first full season.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors who have been with us this whole season. We wouldn’t be here without your support!

Wilmot race recap.

Qualified 7th out of 9

Heat P7 ⬆️ P6

A-main p14 ⬆️ P9

Qualified poorly (drivers fault 😜).

Heat race. We were already making up some ground and passing for P5 and P4 (as Lance Fassbender would say we’re going to keep it classy) when a 🐿️ decided to join the race and pull a Rayhal which killed our run and finished with a P6 and some damage.

A-main starting P14 going into turn 1 when the same 🐿️ showed up. We had no place to go (at least we could help the 🐿️ get straight and he could keep going). With a trip to the work area, my crew only had 2 mins to fix a few things and everything else had to be left. Hats off to my crew getting us back out there to restart P19 with a complete Restart. Took a couple of laps to get comfortable with the car (due to all the bent crap on it) then we went to work and drove back up to P9. A late caution maybe cost us a P8 or P7 finish but we will take our 1st top 10 of the year (it’s been that kinda year).

For the people that were asking about the hard charger. Since we were officially slotted to start P14 and not the P19 on the complete restart we moved up 5 spots officially. Being tied with the 34t for 5 spots each but with the 34t officially starting further back in the field he gets the tie breaker. Congratulations Thomas Becker on his 1st Hard charger award.

📷 by Trip Edge Designs. This kid is getting better every night he shoots.

I also want to thank my two aunts for bringing my 96 yr old grandmother to the race. I think she said it’s been since the 70s since she’s been to dirt track race.

We want to thank all of our sponsors that help make these nights possible.

We had 2 personal bests today! Bentley placed 1st and Colton 3rd! They couldn’t be more excited as they raced a great race! Ben has been chasing 1st place for a few races and finally got it!
Congratulations boys! 🏁🏆

Apparently I am way behind on posting results of the quad races. 😬🤦‍♀️🫣

At the end of July we raced in Cornell and it was HOT!!! 🔥🔥104 degrees during the race.
Everyone raced a great race and gave it their all, despite the heat. Piper finished 4th in her class. Colton ran a great race and had his best finish of the year placing 5th. Ben was having some trouble with his air box and he broke a shock and 2 tie rods, finishing 10th. Chris had a good race, got the home shot, and finished 4th.

A few weeks ago we raced at Road America which is the closest race for us. 🙂

Piper got lost on the track after one of the other kids took down the barrier tape which marked the race path. She ended going way off the track and by the time any crew found her it was too late to finish. She ended up with a DNF.
Ben raced with a broken hand and had a cast on, but still pulled a placing of 14th. Colton had a another great race and brought home another 5th place.
Chris got the hole shot again this race, but broke his clutch handle in the first lap and stopped every lap after that to try and keep it going. Finishing 6th after hitting a tree was still a successful finish.

Thank you to our sponsors who keep this family racing!! We couldn’t do it without your support.
