Whohoo! Scott Doc Varn was in Nashville today and went on our Local on 2 news show to discuss Preserving A Picturesque America PAPA. He did an amazing job! Check it out! We had such a good time on Feb. 23rd painting the "Twin Sisters" at the Lookout Mountain Country Club for Preserving A Picturesque America PAPA. We're going back again one day and keep on painting this unique site. It's so amazing to think about Harry Fenn painting this spot 150 years ago...would have ever guessed that a country club would be there with its driveway going right between those rocks? I doubt that ever entered his mind. :-) THANKS TO ALL THE ARTISTS THAT JOINED US! Jonathan Bidwell Studios Rena Malone, Pegi Flynt, David Barber and Vicki Mammina.

Hey TN PAPA, TN Chapter, Preserving A Picturesque America, Have you seen the PBS show ""America: The Land We Live In"? It's airing tonight in TN on PBS....look for it. Since we have different time zones, I'm not going guess what it is but I think it's around 9 or 10 pm. Check it out and tell them you love it so they will do more of these episodes! Scott Doc Varn, the founder of Preserving A Picturesque America PAPA stars in this pilot. 🥰

Thank you LoraArtworks for creating this video from out paint-out with the PAPA, TN Chapter, Preserving A Picturesque America, group. Painting atop Lookout Mountain was a wonderful experience. I can't wait to see what everyone produced. Thank you so much for participating! We will be posting more images and videos about the last 3 days. Can't wait for our next event. Jonathan Bidwell Studios and Rachael McCampbell Art have some good ideas about what we want to do and it involves eating dinner afterwards. :-)
