Easton's Guitar Shackorama

Easton's Guitar Shackorama I build, repair and hot rod guitars and basses. 35+ years experience. The Shack is truly a professional repair service center with a funny name.

I have worked for hundreds of the biggest names in the music industry, past and present. I can always provide references upon request if needed. The Shack-O-Rama is geared toward fretted instrument repair and service. I also provide amplifier repair as well as give lessons from time to time. Lessons are scheduled in advance by email or calling. A little about me, I've worked for many musical instr

ument companies over the years including; Jackson/Charvel musical instruments, Washburn musical instruments, Fender Musical Instruments, as well as consultant work for several other companies in many roles from design, artist relations, tech services, production and building. I reopened the shack full scale when I decided I never wanted to work for someone else again. Indie is where it's at. I'd love to show you just what you're guitar or bass is capable of. You won't be disappointed. Long Live Rock and Roll!

After 5000 miles and countless annoying stories about nonsense, I have finally decided to recite Monty Python skits to every tourist I come in contact with. It's gonna be a hoot. Long Live Rock and Roll.

I think I'm just gonna document all the bear p**p I run across when hiking and hope that I'm never part of it. There's been several folks that have found the wrong end of the bears this season and we've run into 12 or 13 so far. Good times. Oh and bozo says hey. Long Live Rock and Roll.

Sustained winds 35, gusts above 60 but that's part of the fun. If ya have a chance to visit Glacier National Park you really should. It's a stunningly beautiful place, we've run into grizzly, moose and some wonderful folks. Gonna go have a huckleberry shake and stare at the skies for a while. Long Live Rock and Roll.

Have ya ever had a grizzly look at you about 50 yds away and then start galloping toward you? It's a little uncomfortable to say the least. My wife got some great pictures before we skidaddled. Good times! Long Live Rock and Roll.

Ran into a grizzly today, 3 bull moose and some elk. Smoked a cigar and sipped and old fashioned while staring into the sunset. Rode a bike through the Tetons with my wife in the sleet and rain. Weatherman says it's supposed to snow tomorrow or Thursday. Juneuary is fun. God bless ya kids. Long Live Rock and Roll.

Just so ya know, the movie Summer Rental should be as revered as Gone With The Wind which is why I'm at a truck stop in Laramie. Waiting out the 50+mph winds on I80 because the answer is blowing in the wind really hard and the highway is closed. Good times. Long Live Rock and Roll.

Good morning y'all! As of today The Shack is closed for summer vacation until I get back from the mountains. If you've never sat in a freezing cold mountain stream and realized just how small you are compared to everything around you, I highly recommend it.

Kev man, why do you take summers off? Because my wife is a teacher and her summer break is generally 8ish weeks on average now so we drag up and disappear until the school bell rings. While I do absolutely love what I do for a living, I have to distance myself from it occasionally. It's a reset on my perspectives and where I am in my life. We don't live to work, we work to live and livin, well that's as undefineable as what's the perfect taco my friends.

If'n I have enough signal I'll throw a couple pictures or videos of what's happening at the moment. I'll tell ya it's breathtaking for the most part. The furthest point this trip is the Jasper area up in the Canadian Rockies. Some time in the badlands of south Dakota, 4th of July at Rushmore, some Montana time, time in the mountains of Wyoming and then to prairies of Kansas to visit the in-laws.

Kids, ya never know when that last breath is gonna come so go, breathe in and out. Call in sick, buy a freaking RV and check out as early and as often as possible. Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it. 😉 Till I see ya, thank you for letting me tinker on your stuff. I'm grateful for each of ya. Long Live Rock and Roll.

Some of the last shiny frets before summer vacation. Good times and good tones. I can't emphasize this enough y'all, I greatly appreciate each of you and I'm seriously grateful y'all let me tinker on your guitars n such. Monday is the absolute last day to pickup your instruments before I shut down The Shack for vacation. There are some insanely big changes coming when I get back. Many good times are ahead. Long Live Rock and Roll.
