Summer 2016
Hello everyone,
This is a general note to folks who have recently been involved in CandleWater Players.
While we had made some initial plans for a Summer 2016 production, I'm sorry to say that such will not be the case. CandleWater will not be producing a summer show this year. I wanted to get word out to folks as directly as possible, since I know that summer planning for many of you is underway.
Naturally, there are many, many summer youth theatre options in the area, so you should have no shortage of possibilities if you want to be in a production.
There are also many, many outreach and service opportunities for young people -- the real heart of CandleWater -- and I hope you'll find some options to make a difference in the world in other programs this summer.
CandleWater is taking a break this summer, but will continue to consider future seasons and shows as they come up. I appreciate the work and spirit of all who have been part of CandleWater thus far - over a hundred performers, tech, parents, and friends over 4 years who have raised more than $24,000 in that time for clean water, community gardens (twice), disaster relief, stopping human trafficking, and reforestation. You've all made a tremendous difference - thank you.
