Icky and Sunshine's Beloved Art Studios & Face Painting Sunshine has been face painting since 2008, three of those as the Supervisor of Face Painting and Body Art at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.

Icky has been bit by the face paint bug in 2012 and has transitioned easily to this new medium. We have face painted, applied henna tattoos, created hair wraps and installed feather extensions at private parties, birthday parties, day care centers, bat-mitzvahs, block parties, festivals and picnics. We also express ourselves through cardboard art creations, murals, painting on canvas, crafts, creating rehearsal dinner videos and more. The sky's the limit! If you have an idea that you need someone to bring to life - we're two someone's who "CAN DO" it. It was a great night! Thanks to everyone who came out, shared stories, and took one last photo by the iconic Coyote Drive-In sign. There were tears and laughter. It was truly special. We are so thankful for the memories. Our kids grew up here and so did many of yours. Thank you and good night.

We have been hanging out at the Coyote Drive-In painting happy faces! Toy Story, Super Girl, Minions, and more! We are here tonight and again tomorrow for the 250th 4th celebration!!! This past weekend we painted happy faces at the Rabbit Fest in Copperas Cove. This was our 13th year at Rabbit Fest! We cannot say enough good things about the tireless efforts of the Chamber of Commerce to host a fantastic event. And ya'll, we were set up next to the sweetest, most hard working mother and daughter entrepreneurs! Together they make some very yummy freeze dried products including ice cream, Skittles, pickles, Jolly Ranchers, and more. Look for them, Freezeway Co., at festivals and on social media. Yes, they ship! Thanks to those who have been bringing their kids to us for years and those we just met. Especially J. We were exhausted after working Friday and putting in a 12+ hour day on Saturday...but the Lord said to stay a little longer. He put it on J's heart, a young adult, to get a face paint. Lol He was our last customer. We got to sew into J's life, hug him, and be greatly encouraged and filled with joy oursrlves. If the Lord tells you to get a face paint, get a face paint! Amen! Be blessed! God knows the plans He has for you, is never late, and ever so good! See you soon!

Here is a compilation of our Spring 2026 festivals including the Cotton Gin Festival in Burton, the Japanese Festival at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, Mayfest in Marble Falls, and Maifest in Brenham. We leave Thursday for Rabbitfest in Copperas Cove. We love every minute, every face, and we are blessed and thank you all for coming out year after year to see us! Oh, and there is a photo in the mix of a squirrel nibbling a potato chip. I was not so surprised that squirrels eat potato chips. The fact that my husband surrendered a chip to one - shocking! Lol
