🍔 Double Meat & Crispy Chicken Burger

🥩 Ingredients

For the Double Beef Patties:

1 lb (450g) ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

For the Crispy Chicken:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to an even thickness)

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Burger Assembly:

2 soft burger buns

2 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)

2 tbsp mayonnaise

1 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp mustard

Lettuce leaves

Tomato slices

Pickles

🍔 Instructions

1. Prepare & Cook the Beef Patties

In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.

Form the beef mixture into two large patties, making them slightly larger than your buns.

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness (medium-rare to medium). Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

2. Make the Crispy Chicken

In a bowl, dip the chicken breasts into buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off.

In a separate shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to coat.

Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain the chicken on paper towels and set aside.

3. Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns in a skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, and layer lettuce and tomato slices.

Place a beef patty on top, followed by a crispy fried chicken breast.

Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the chicken, and top with pickles.

Place the second beef patty on top and close the burger with the top bun.

Ingredients:
For the Burger:
1 lb ground beef (80/20 ratio for the juiciest burgers) 🥩
4 burger buns 🍞
4 slices of cheddar cheese 🧀
1 cup crispy bacon, crumbled 🍳
4 dill pickle slices 🥒
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Optional: ketchup, mustard, and mayo for topping
For the Cheesy Fries:
4 large russet potatoes 🍟
1 tablespoon olive oil 🧴
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish 🌿
Instructions:
For the Burger:
Form the patties: Shape the ground beef into 4 patties, making sure to press down in the center to avoid puffing up when cooking. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Cook the burgers: Heat a grill or pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side (or longer if you prefer them well-done). Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
Assemble the burger: Toast the burger buns in the pan or oven until golden. Stack the cheeseburger with crumbled bacon and pickles, then add any other condiments you like. Place the top bun on and set aside.
For the Cheesy Fries:
Prepare the fries: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the potatoes into fries, toss them with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and spread them on a baking sheet.
Bake the fries: Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re crispy and golden brown.
