Stitch Night #2 is in the books, and it did not disappoint.

Thank you to everyone who filled the shop with your talent and wonderful presence, whether knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers, or embroiderers! This is exactly the kind of Thursday night we were hoping for.

Tonight's the night: Stitch Night #2, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Pull up a chair and bring whatever you're working on, whether it's knitting, crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, or other fiber arts - all of it's welcome. No sign-up, no skill level required, and no pressure! Just good company, good light, and snacks.

The first one was packed, with a little bit of everything in the mix. We're saving you a seat for this one.

Wednesday WIP, with a little extra on the needles this week.

Rachael's working up the Phoebe Scarf by Ozetta Knitwear's Hailey Smedley, and testing a new cashmere we're considering bringing into the shop while she's at it. (Swatching by way of an actual finished object. Efficient.) Any cashmere fans out there?

And yep, that's our Bad Cat stitch marker hanging off the needles. It's in the shop now (finally), online soon.

Some evenings beg for a sketchbook and a porch.

I took advantage of tonight's perfect weather and worked up a fun little portrait of Rosie Cotton, cozy in an old sweater. I think this one's headed for stickers. And if you all love her as much as we do, maybe a pin, or even a tee?

Here's a little peek at the process: the last few stitches of sweater going in. Rachael knits better than me by far. But I did alright...ish.

Our first Stitch Night is officially in the books, and the room was PACKED.

Thank you to everyone who pulled up a chair (or a couch, or a window seat) and stitched with us. This is exactly what we hoped this place would become. A place for friendship and community. Everyone who was a part of it, you made it amazing! So thanks!
