💥🥳 Pink Droyd Member (B-Day Girl!!) Spotlight 🥳💥

Meet Jill Jugloff, our rock n' roll'in vocalist queen!

Born into a musical family, Jill grew up playing her toy piano next to dad and his Hammond B3 during rehearsals in the basement of her childhood home.

Playing by ear, she played keys as a child, picked up the guitar in her late 20s and started playing solo gigs and writing her own music. She has since fronted several bands including Hearbeat City and He Said She Said. She currently records her own music in her home studio, plays in an acoustic duo, JJ and McRae, hosts a weekly open mic night, sings backing vocals in Kid Charlemagne, a Steely Dan Tribute band, and is excited to now be a part of Pink Droyd!

Clare Torry was “ Floyd for a day,” but that single day was enough to carve her name into music history. Her voice isn’t just an external contribution: it is the very soul of The Great Gig in the Sky. Without her, the track would be a beautiful instrumental landscape; with her, it becomes an emotional experience that overwhelms, tears apart, and comforts. Her vocal solo isn’t an embellishment it’s the narrative itself. Where there are no words, she tells everything: fear, surrender, rebellion, tenderness, transition. It’s an inner journey that becomes universal. Her improvisation instinctive, visceral, unrepeatable transforms Richard Wright’s composition into a dialogue between life and whatever lies beyond it. This is why Clare Torry isn’t a “guest” on the track: she is an integral part of its structure, like a fourth instrument, like a heartbeat pulsing inside the music. Her voice doesn’t accompany the piece it creates it. And every time we listen, it’s impossible to imagine The Great Gig in the Sky without her.
