First show as Vinyl Revival in the books. Had a few glitches but overall went well. Next up 2 hour show at Common Grounds September 27 from 6 to 8.

“Summer Time, and the livin’ is easy”, but it is August in Kansas and flat out HOT! Temperatures for our concert Friday are predictied to be around 98 degrees. So…working with Ralph Carlson, we made a decision to move inside on the Loading Dock at Common Grounds Coffee shop. Come join us at 7 PM for some hot licks in a cool atmosphere! The music we play will be what we used to go to the record store to buy and stack on the spindle for an old school playlist. Also, Vinyl Revival (Rick Hite and Stephen Moses) will be back at Common Grounds on September 27 from 6 - 8 PM with even more of your favorite tunes.

Exciting News! I have teamed up with Stephen Moses to form a musical duo called “Vinyl Revival”. Our focus is on songs from the past when you bought records to hear your favorite songs and the “playlist” was the order you stacked them on the turntable. Our debut will be at the Gazebo in Fort Scott for the free Friday Night Concert on August 15th at 7:00 PM. Please come join us for a trip down memory lane.

Have a guitar you would like to learn to play but don’t have a teacher? I’m here for you! I enjoy working with beginner students as individuals or in a group. My style of teaching will help you to build a “toolbox” of skills to draw from so you can continue to improve in the years to come using all genres. Whether you want to perform in public or just for you own satisfaction, I will tailor lessons to meet your dreams. Lessons are taught online, in my music room or a combination of the two.
