Just a couple little barn owls ready to fly the coop 🦉
I had a lot of fun playing around with the color placement on these two Macramé Owl Keychains. They share the same design, but I wanted to see how different the whole look could feel just by changing where the colors live.
🏖️ Sand is a lighter tan with a slight warm undertone, giving the left owl an overall lighter color combination.
✴️ Alloy Orange brings in a bright, tangerine-like orange that adds a warmer, more vibrant contrast to both color combinations. On the left owl, it shows up throughout the face, body, and tail feathers, while on the right owl it’s concentrated mostly in the wings.
🤍 White brings a lot of brightness to both owls, but especially the left one where it helps the Sand and Alloy Orange stand out.
🪵 Ground War gives the right owl its darker, more broken-up look, with a mix of earthy tones that makes the white and orange stand out even more.
Both are finished with black plated O-rings instead of a traditional keyring, giving them a slightly different look.
Measurements:𓅓 ~6³/₈” total length with keyring
𓅓 2” height of owl body alone
𓅓 ~2³/₄” max length of tail ends
𓅓 1³/₄” max width (@ owl wings/body)
𓅓 1³/₈” keyring outer diameter
The darker one came first, but I think the lighter one stole the show for me. Both are finished and available in my Etsy shop, ready to find their new bags, backpacks, keys, or wherever else they decide to roost! 🦉
Hope your week has a little something fun perched in it! 🫶🏻
🪢 Tie-Breaker Time 🪢If you were choosing one for your own bag, would you go with the lighter owl or the darker one?
