Today marks a new step forward for Ape Bit Gaming Collective.

We are officially starting to collaborate with a local car group as we look at new ways to bring gaming, cars, events, and community together. This is something we are going to build carefully, look at from every angle, and figure out the best way to make it work for everyone involved.

The goal is simple: create something different.

We want to bring together people who enjoy gaming, cars, culture, collectibles, tournaments, meets, and community events. Whether it is console gaming, retro games, car meets, pop-up events, tournaments, giveaways, or just a place for people to connect, we want to see how far this can grow when both worlds come together.

Right now, we are in the planning and idea stage. We will be looking at the best ways to organize events, share ideas, support each other, and create something that feels fun, safe, respectful, and community-focused.

This is not just about one event. This is about building connections, opening new doors, and seeing what happens when two communities work together with the same goal: bringing people together.

I am not even surprised at this point, but that does not make it any less disappointing.

I have been a GTA fan for years, and I already knew GTA 6 was going to be expensive. I already knew the industry was moving more toward digital. I already knew big companies were going to find ways to squeeze more value out of their biggest releases.

But knowing it is coming does not mean fans have to be okay with it.

We waited well over a decade for GTA 6. We sat through rumors, silence, delays, trailers, and years of hype. Now the game is finally getting closer, and instead of feeling like a real celebration for the community, it feels like another reminder that gaming is moving away from ownership and more toward control.

Around $80 for the Standard Edition.
Around $100 for the Ultimate Edition.
And the boxed version still does not come with an actual disc, just a download code inside the case.

That is not the same as owning a physical game.

The fans helped make GTA one of the biggest franchises in gaming history. We bought the games, supported GTA Online, made content, shared memories, and kept the name alive across generations.

Nobody is saying Rockstar should not make money. GTA 6 is going to be massive, and everybody knows that.

But after this long of a wait, fans deserve better than premium prices, less physical value, and a release that feels more like business strategy than appreciation.

I am still excited for the game.

But I am also tired of seeing loyal fans treated like walking wallets.

Do better.

The community deserves better.

**Question:** Are you still buying GTA 6 at launch, or does the no-disc boxed version and higher price make you want to wait?

I've been a GTA fan for years, but this is exactly how you lose the goodwill of your community.

We waited well over a decade. The game got delayed multiple times. Now we're looking at paying around $80 for the standard edition, around $100 for higher editions, and even the collector's edition reportedly doesn't include a physical game disc, just a redemption code. That's not fan service. That's squeezing every dollar possible out of the people who kept this franchise alive.

The fans are the reason GTA became one of the biggest gaming franchises in history. Instead of rewarding that loyalty, it feels like we're being treated like walking wallets. Premium prices, less value, and more waiting.

Nobody is saying Rockstar doesn't deserve to make money. But after all these years, the least they could do is show the fans some appreciation instead of making everything feel like a cash grab.

Do better. We deserve better.
