Bad luck built us.

Today it was just a little, harmless bad luck. A silly hat I flubbed. Oh well. Iā€™ll wear it anyway.

Because somewhere along the way, I learned to carry it well.

Legend says Bad Luck Bourbon was born in Kentucky in 1883. We resurrected it in Flint in 2025. The rest is lore. Every shirt. Every jacket. Every stitch. Every brand has a first chapter.

This one starts with a trailer packed in Flint, Michigan, months of late nights, sore hands, coffee-fueled mornings, and a family determined to build something that means more than a logo on a shirt.

In just a few days, weā€™ll point that trailer west and make our very first trip to Sturgis.

Not because we have it all figured out.

Because every great story starts with someone willing to take the ride.

Inside that trailer are hand-dyed shirts, one-of-a-kind upcycled pieces, castor oil hand soaps, hand-poured candles, and countless hours of work from our family. Every piece carries a little of where we came from and a lot of where weā€™re hoping to go.

Flint has taught us that bad luck isnā€™t the end of the story. Itā€™s what you do after it finds you that matters.

Thatā€™s why this brand exists.

Whether you stop by just to say hello, find something that catches your eye, or simply follow along from home, weā€™re grateful youā€™re here for the beginning.
