Get ready for some fun this weekend  and the Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel and Westfield area! As many as 48 Balloons will be flying between Friday night and Sunday morning:)
Whether you will be attending the Jupiter Flights Festival or will be watching the balloons from outside Conner Prairie, there’s a fun way to reach out to the pilots.
The balloon pilots will be taking off from Conner Prairie, as well as taking off from outside launch spots throughout the weekend. If you live in areas close to Conner Prairie and have property free of power lines, trees, etc, you can place a white sheet in your yard. This lets pilots know that it is ok for them to take off or land at your property.
This is not a guarantee that they will access your property. There are a lot of of factors that would lead a pilot’s decision to takeoff or land at a determined spot. The weather, the wind direction, the size of available space, and the safe conditions surrounding the area.
This is a great way to be involved and support the pilots. Thanks for your consideration.
