I hear dads like cool tees for Father's Day. Hoodies too for late night campfires.

The two-block print is called 'Ancestral Denizens' and here's the story: folks wanted me to do a Detroit-inspired print, so as a naturalist I did a deep dive into Detroit's pre-industrialized history and discovered that our beautiful city -- still beautiful! -- was once covered with paper birch. And you know who loves paper birch? Pileated woodpeckers!

Both are available in a slightly heathered, deep black inside Forested. The original linoprint is completely handprinted by me, the apparel locally screenprinted in water-based ink.

There's a lot to see inside Forested, including the printmaking work of one mama (last slide, taken at our northern Michigan property) whose heart is so full. Those two children, now 30 and 28, will always be my source of joy and love, my two shining lights.
