I AM HAMLET

I AM HAMLET One-man, modern adaptation of Hamlet, starring Brian Morey, adapted and directed by Joe Siracusa. Now booking for Spring 2012!

Review from Larry Stark, the "Theatre Angel of Boston":

"His voice is huge, yet completely comprehensible in whispers. When he becomes King Claudius by donning a crown and sitting on a throne, his intense eyes seem to swell and his voice also swells with the madness of usurped power. Yet Ophelia's monstrous little voice speaks of her thwarted love, and sings madly at the death of her father at h

er one true love's hand. And when, laying about him with one of five different swords, his Hamlet dies finally avenged, the moment is one of true tragedy. This pocket-version of Shakespeare's masterpiece flashed on the BCA's Black-Box stage so briefly it was gone before one could say It Lightens. Should it shine again in Boston, its light should not be ignored."

The FINAL show of a 3-month run on Martha's Vineyard is TONIGHT! At the historic Grange Hall Theater, built in 1859, it's been simply lovely. Any Islanders who have been waiting till the last minute, now's your chance!

"Would the night were come! Till then sit still, my soul: foul deeds will rise..."

The Grange Hall in West Tisbury, Massachusetts is a historic post-and-beam building that was built in 1859. West Tisbury is on the island of Martha's Vineyard. The building is owned and has been restored by the Martha's Vineyard Preservation Trust, and is available for use.[1]
