📸 “You just put a filter on it, right?”
Oh absolutely. 😂 I simply press one magical button and 400 photos edit themselves while I drink coffee and stare peacefully out the window.
Meanwhile, in reality:
I’m sorting through hundreds of photos.
Picking the best ones.
Adjusting lighting.
Fixing colors and skin tones.
Cropping and straightening.
Removing random distractions.
Zooming in WAY too far to make sure everything looks right.
Going back to a photo I already edited because something feels off.
And occasionally questioning every decision I’ve ever made because one photo is 2% too orange. 😂
Taking the photos is only part of the job. A HUGE chunk of the time you’re paying your photographer for what happens after the session is already over.
Every finished gallery has hours of work behind it that clients never see — and that editing style is a huge part of what makes each photographer’s work their own. 🫶🏻📸
Photographers: what’s the ONE editing task that somehow takes you forever? 😂
