We’re thrilled to welcome Cheryl Larson of Sunny Day for an Alcohol Ink Workshop on June 27!

Two sessions will be offered:
🕤 9:30 AM–Noon
🕜 1:30–3:00 PM

You’re welcome to sign up for either session—or both if you’d like extra time to continue building on your work from the morning class.

If you love vibrant color, playful movement, and bold, expressive design, this workshop is absolutely for you.
Cheryl’s classes are fun, approachable, and perfect for anyone curious about exploring a fresh, dynamic medium.

🎨 Plein Air Landscapes with Stephen Henning — May 16, 2026
Join the Farwell Community Arts Association for a day of outdoor creativity with Minnesota artist Stephen Henning from 10 AM–3 PM. All skill levels welcome!

Stephen is an award‑winning painter known for his bold, contemporary landscapes inspired by Minnesota’s lakes and wild places. This workshop is a chance to learn from a skilled artist while exploring atmosphere, lighting, and composition—areas that challenge beginners and seasoned painters alike.
🌿 Paint with your favorite medium outdoors!

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move inside the Corner Garage.

June 2026 Warren Dahl Exhibit in the Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Farwell Mn:
A lifelong lover of color and composition, Warren studied at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul and later showed his work in a gallery in Edina. Warren works in watercolor, oils, and some acrylic, always drawn to bold, vivid color. His favorite subjects are plein air landscapes and water—rivers, lakes, and enjoys the way natural light transforms them.
After 25 years as a graphic designer, the shift to computer graphics pushed him toward carpentry, but his passion for painting never faded. Now living in Cyrus, MN, he’s focusing more seriously on his art, inspired every day by the movement of light in nature.

Glass Fusion Workshop — Save the Date! 🌟
We’re excited to welcome RuBe’s Fused Glass for a hands‑on summertime workshop perfect for adults and kids (ages 8+ with an adult present).

(*We may also offer a July 2 or July 15 (same times) session depending on interest!)
🎨 What You’ll Make
Each participant will create one fused‑glass piece on a 4×6 clear base — a fun, creative project to brighten your summer.
🧰 What’s Included:
All materials and tools are provided:
Glass supplies
Safety glasses
Gloves
Tools
And yes… even Band‑Aids (hopefully unnecessary!)
💵 Cost
$35 per person
Cash preferred.
👥 Class Size & Ages
Limited to 8 participants
Ages 8 and up (children must attend with an adult)
