Farmer City Haunted Forest Embark on a journey through South Park, into the eerie Salt Creek Campsites where fright lurks around every turn. Please park in designated areas only.

Take a hayrack ride through the Haunted Forest at South Park’s Salt Creek Area 21 Campground in Farmer City

Saturday Matinee activities include games, face painting, glow in the dark tattoos, barrel train rides, and costume contests with prizes awarded

Following up from our last post, there will be an informational meeting this Sunday, the 18th, at 3:00pm at 113 S Main St in Farmer City. This meeting will cover:

*2026 theme
*group ideas
*site by site breakdowns
*assign positions within the leadership teams
*how this year is going to be sooo much different than previous events

This meeting is for anybody interested in being part of the Build Team or the IT/Robotics Team for the 2026 Haunted Forest events. If you have questions or you're on the fence about whether or not to join, this is the meeting to come to.

Last call for scares! We've got a full scare team on site and ready to freak you out! Come to the BMX entrance to walk into the most haunted forest you've ever been in! Now until 10pm! Stop in at the BMX concession stand and get some food while you're here!

Then join us tomorrow for a special sensory friendly event with a bounce house, sensory bins, face painting, and kids games! All the fun, none of the scary stuff. 4pm-8pm Saturday November 1st

We’re as giddy as goblins to unveil our spook-tacular Trick-or-Treat Treasure Hunt! The forest monsters have hidden all the candy, and we need your brave little adventurers to help us find it!

👻 When: Halloween Night, 5:30–8:00 PM 🌲 Where: Enter through the BMX parking lot (swing by their concession stand for treats of your own!) and make your way to our brand-new entrance.

🗺️ Grab a paper map at the start—or pull it up on your phone from our website—and let the hunt begin!

We were setting up for trick-or-treat…
But the monsters woke up and beat us to the sweets!
They’ve hidden the candy, every last bite—
Then vanished into the Halloween night.

But they left behind a spooky clue…
A treasure map just for YOU!
Follow the riddles, station by station,
On a trail of treats and transformation.

📍 This Friday • 5:30pm-8pm Trick-or-treat in the Forest (the time is staggered with the town trick or treat hours so you can do both!)! Come to the BMX entrance to get your treasure map!
