You may have noticed we aren't as active on this page these days. We haven't been impressed with changes FB has made with privacy, AI, and other shenanigans. Perhaps we need to send Zuck to our stockade!

Aye, 'tis another First Avenue Market Love Local Night! Join us for our Ren Faire celebration, Friday, the 13th day of June, from the hour of five in the evening until the hour of nine. We will be led in the festivities by Aimee & Bill & Their Multiple Personalities -- the merriment includes Hobby Horse Jousting, The Dating Game - and should folx deserve it, the stockades await! A special appearance by La Serenissima Caterina di Venezia too! There will be Savory Pies from Deb's Corner Foods and Catering (only $8 each - huzzah!) Legal adults may toast the evening with cups of mead from Prairie Rose Meadery! Come in costume - or purchase Renaissance costume pieces from Forever 1521! Wherefore not do both?! Thee only liveth once!

We ❤️ local libraries! Bill and I were en route to a gig this past fall, but couldn't resist stopping by Jamestown's lovely library for some photo ops and free books. (We also had to stop by because of a sheet music emergency, but we will save that story for another time). You will often find the two of us and our personalities at the Fargo library. Bill, researching for upcoming guided tours, and me, working on artwork and plotting world domination.

Come play with us this Friday!

Aimee & Bill & Their Multiple Personalities will be clowning around at the market from 6pm until 9pm for this Friday's Circus Edition of Love Local Night! Boy O Boy, are we all in for a treat because these are real circus performers!

Aimee Klein spent 3 seasons touring with the legendary Zoppé Circus, traveling and being involved in all aspects of circus life, eventually becoming Zoppé’s first female ringmaster. “‘That does it! I’m going to run away with the circus!’ is something many have jokingly said, but I was going through a bit of an old-fashioned midlife crisis, and I actually did it!” says Klein.

Klein’s partner in crime, William R. Balsley, trained with Ringling Brothers and performed in a church clown group for several years. Balsley also grew up with a familial connection. “My father was born in 1892, and in his teenage years, his parents let him and his brothers run away with the circus in the summers. That would have been about 1905 to 1910. I was fortunate enough to meet and know a number of the old circus legends.”

With our Ghost Tours winding down, let's take a moment to share what else we do! We put our multiple personalities to work at Private parties, Octoberfests, birthday parties, curbside concerts and more! We provide a unique experience with music, comedy, clowning, caricature drawing, storytime and theatre. Hire us, if you dare. . . .muhwahahahah
