Twenty five years ago today, on June 18, 2001, the Red River Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists was honored and privileged to host the Region VI convention of the American Guild of Organists.

Between 250-300 organists, organ enthusiasts, technicians, choir directors, clergy, and others attended the 4-day convention, and world-famous organists traveled to Fargo to participate and perform in the convention.

As a chapter, RRVAGO fondly remembers this wonderful highlight in its history.

Happy Sunday!

Enjoy this sneak peek at our upcoming concert on Sunday, June 28th, 2026, at Peace Lutheran Fargo ELCA in Fargo for an afternoon of Music celebrating 250 years of America.

Members of the AGO will be performing a concert of organ solos, Piano and Organ duets, and several small-group numbers, all centered on America and the pipe organ.
This concert is free and open to the public!

We hope to see you at Peace Lutheran for this exciting Event!

It with sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Bystol, who served as Dean and Sub-Dean of our AGO chapter during the 1980s and '90s.

Joan was part of a group of very dedicated AGO members that helped grow the presence of the organ in the Red River Valley at that time and her music and presence will be missed.

Another fun ‘Second Friday Lunch’ gathering of our AGO chapter was had last Friday.

Our annual meeting is next week and we can’t wait to unveil the schedule for our upcoming concerts/recitals!
