On November 1st 2024 I received a message from a past photography client. It was along the lines of ' hey kensie, I've been following you since our wedding and found a box of old magazines, would you like to use them for your art?' she offered to drop them off. I was thinking it would be a handful of magazines but it was about a foot and a half stack of 50+ life magazines from the 60s. The box was so heavy I had to drag it into my house, no idea how she even got it over here 😂

I haven't had a chance to really go through them yet but I've flipped through and I am IN LOVE. Life loves space and the president and really amazing ads.

I know I know, some of you will probably say 'those are probably worth a lot of money, I checked.

But that probably won't stop me from using these for art. 🙃

Pulled out the pressed flowers and leaves from last fall. Turning the pages is art in itself. I cannot get over the delicacy of these silver ferns. 😍
