In 2002 he founded John Paulson Productions LLC and as an independent producer has been the creative force behind highly-regarded performance shows on Flamenco dance (Fury!), Pop music (3 Mo’ Divas), Jazz (Les Paul Live in New York), and Broadway (Rodgers & Hammerstein’s OKLAHOMA! And his recent documentaries on music luminaries Woody Guthrie and Les Paul, and his stunning aerial treatment of the Chesapeake Bay, have garnered him numerous awards and the Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Today, Paulson’s career continues to cross over from directing documentaries to performance shows and back.
