Alright Fairmont, I’m curious what ideas you guys might have on this one! 🛹🤘

Does anyone know of a good location that could possibly work for an indoor Fairmont Wheels Forward facility?

I have a few locations in mind already, but obviously one of the biggest things we have to look at is cost. We’re still pretty early in exploring the idea and figuring out what might actually be realistic.

It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Really, we need some open space, a decent floor and enough room to set up portable ramps and obstacles. A place where we could hold open skate sessions, clinics, lessons, events and continue building the mentorship side of FWF throughout the winter.

Maybe there’s an empty building I haven’t thought of, a business with unused space, or someone out there with an idea or connection.

Throw your ideas in the comments or shoot me a message! I’m curious what’s out there.

You never know until you ask. 🤘🛹

🛹 GET SOME WHEELS UNDER YOUR FEET! 🤙🏻

Sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is grab a skateboard, scooter, BMX bike—or whatever you like to ride—and just move.

Action sports aren’t only about learning tricks. They get you outside, get your body moving, challenge you, build confidence, and give your mind a break from everything else going on.

You’re going to fall. You’re going to get frustrated. Then you get back up, try again, and eventually something clicks. There’s a pretty good life lesson in that too.

That’s a huge part of what Fairmont Wheels Forward is about. Creating opportunities for kids and adults to be active, clear their heads, meet some good people, learn something new, and have a place where they belong.

You don’t have to be good. You don’t have to know any tricks. Just get some wheels under your feet and have some fun. 🛹❤️🤙🏻

🛹 THIS is what Fairmont Wheels Forward is all about.

Gavin was the very first kid we ever gave a skateboard to, and it’s pretty awesome to see him still coming down to the skatepark and still riding that board! 🤘🏻

But what I love even more is the kind of kid Gavin is. He’s always willing to help his friends, show someone how to ride, encourage them, and just be a good kid to have around the park. He’ll even shoot Scott and I a message when he’s heading down to see if we’re coming too. 🛹

Kids like Gavin are what keep me going with this.

Watching kids WANT to learn. Watching them help each other. Watching them find a community where they feel comfortable and want to keep coming back. That’s bigger than skateboarding.

This is why we give boards away.
This is why we want to mentor.
This is why we’re fighting for more opportunities for these kids.
And this is why Fairmont Wheels Forward exists.

Keep coming back, Gavin! It’s been pretty dang cool watching you learn and progress. We’re just getting started! 🛹🤙🏻

How cool is this?! 🤘🛹

Don works with Crypticon and has had the opportunity to work with some pretty awesome celebrities. He started following Fairmont Wheels Forward on Facebook, saw what we’ve been doing here in Fairmont, and decided to tell Bam Margera about us while working with him at Crypticon.

Bam was awesome enough to hook us up with some autographed 8x10 photos that we’ll be able to use for future FWF fundraisers! 🔥 These are going to be a pretty sweet way to help us raise money for our programs, portable skate equipment, helmets, and everything we’re working toward for the kids in our community.

Don, I seriously can’t thank you enough for thinking of us and making this happen. It was an absolute pleasure getting to visit with you today! People stepping up, making connections, and believing in what we’re trying to build is exactly how this thing keeps moving forward.

And a HUGE thank you to Bam for showing some love to a small-town Minnesota skate community! 🤘
